Container Cargo Lashing Hook Eye Lashing Bar Extension
Introduction:
The lashing bar extension is to lock the containers, to make container lashing steadily.
It was casted by steel, with hot dip galvanized finish to withstand the ocean conditions. There are several types in usual, the length is also can be customized according to different requirements.
Lashing bars are used on the ends of the containers while aboard ship to securing the container stacks to the ship. Short bars of about 2500 mm go to the bottom of the 2nd container tier. Long bars of about 4500 to 5000 mm go to the bottom of the 3rd container tier. The bars have a swivel head on one end the can fit into the end of the container corner casting. The other end is to be used in conjunction with the appropriate turnbuckle which in turn is secured to a d ring or lashing plate which is welded to the ships deck.
It is especially made for lifting containers from the lower fitting points.

it should always be used with, either a 2 or 4 point spreader beam / spreader bar.It is available as a straight and turned 45 degrees. To avoid the risk of disengagement during use, a tolerance of +- 15 degrees from nominal should be adhered to.We recommend that you use a spreader and lift from the bottom when the container is loaded as this is where the container is strongest.
If a two point connection spreader is used the WLL is to be reduced due to the angles.
A 4-leg sling is also possible to use but then you need to:
Make sure the hooks and chains can move free to the intended load angles without obstruction.
Only lift in the bottom corners.
