Weld on Excavator Hooks are a versatile hook for lifting and spreader beams and as a fixed anchor point in general lifting applications.
  • Manufactured from G80 alloy steel with a safety factor of 4:1

The weld on anchor hook are also used as a top fitting to attach chain legs to master link. Often used as a bottom fitting to attached plate clamp, engineered device, or shackle to chain sling leg.  Center pin has recess for strong mechanical lock. 

it is closed die forged. Closed die forging produces consistent dimensions. A closed die forged bow allows for an increased cross section that, when coupled with quench and tempering, enhances strength and ductility. Close tolerance holes and concentric pins with good surface finishes are provided and are proven to provide improved fatigue life in actual use. they are fatigue rated as well as load rated. Close pin to hole tolerance has been proven to be critical for good fatigue life.
