A High Lead Choker has knobs on both ends with a bell in the middle. This choker is used with ring sliders. The choker can be
upended if one becomes kinked.
Commonly used in yarding operations because of their longer life due to knob reversibility. When used with line skidders, these knob & knob chokers are connected to the mainline with a twitch hook.
Capacity of 2,100 lbs. is maximum line tension in pounds. It is not based on the weight of the log, but the maximum pulling force the choker can be subjected to as log is being skidded. Factors such as terain slope, shock loading, and snags must be taken into account when selecting size.
